Release of a New TePe Sustainability Report

TePe is advancing its commitment to sustainability by prioritizing preventive health, responsible business practices, and sustainable material choices. Sustainability is a long-term commitment and journey. At TePe it means taking responsibility today and for future generations. Each year TePe publishes a Sustainability Report to provide details on the previous year.

Building a long-term sustainable business is one of four strategic pillars on our journey toward taking social responsibility through outstanding business ethics and the promotion of health and well-being.

TePe’s sustainability framework is outlined through three main areas – good product, good people, and good practice. Efforts and improvements within these areas are shaped by our business strategy and a thorough materiality analysis.

Carbon Footprint Reduction: TePe has made significant strides in reducing our carbon footprint. For example, we reduced district heating by 64% and shifted from air freight to sea freight, resulting in a 26% decrease in transportation emissions.
Renewable Resources and Sustainable Packaging: In 2024, 85% of the plastics purchased for TePe's products came from renewable sources. All toothbrush and interdental brush handles are made using materials from renewable sources or certified renewable mass-balanced materials.
Employee Well-being and Community Engagement: TePe prioritizes the safety, health, and work-life balance of their employees. They introduced the "Healthy Minds" initiative, offering workshops, trainings, and meditations to raise awareness and proactively work on mental sustainability. They also actively support the Eklund Foundation for Odontological Research and Education, which funds international dental research.
