TePe® Dental Floss

Tepe dental floss used to be better than anything else that I found on the market...and it was well worth the higher price! However, at some point in the last two years they made unfortunate changes to it. The Tepe floss that I last purchased (I ordered two) is the changed version and is actually inferior now to those other flosses that I had previously cast aside for Tepe. I don't know why Tepe changed their product, but it now gets stuck in between my teeth and shreds, leaving pieces between my teeth that I have great trouble removing. I tried pulling through several feet of the floss and using it for a few more days to see if the poor quality of the first few feet was a fluke (as stupid as that was), but it continued to shred and get stuck between my teeth. I can't use it anymore. I believe the floss is rated high mainly because of older ratings of the previous "formula" (it was fantastic before the changes), ratings that were posted before the current inferior floss replaced the great one. Very sad.

Love the floss, but would be nice if it was mint flavored.

Unfortunately this floss has a tendency to shred between some of my teeth which have tight spaces. It is then difficult to get the shredded fibers, which are quite uncomfortable, out from between my teeth.

The new dental floss is terrible - it shreds like crazy and leaves fibers stuck between teeth. What happened to the old product that was just fine

The last dental floss I purchased from TePe is different than previous purchases. This floss snags easily in my teeth, unlike the previous ones.

I am considering switching to another company if this continues.

Great stuff. I thought why should I get the cheap stuff at the local hardware store when I can get something better.

I thought the old floss in the green package was the best floss on the market.

This is a real disappointment, and I don’t plan to buy more. On my first try, it broke twice.

Bring back the previous version, please.

The texture is different from the green dental floss, but it is great, too. I am using this brand for over 3 years.
